Trio Jazz Club and the Fellowship Jazz Center team up to present acclaimed guitarist Adam Moezinia for two unforgettable nights on Friday, May 8 and Saturday, May 9, with shows at 6:30 and 9:00 PM each evening. Moezinia will be joined by bassist Andrew Reinartz and drummer Daniel Heier for an intimate performance that highlights the artistry of one of today’s compelling jazz guitarists.

About Adam Moezinia:

A native of Los Angeles, Moezinia studied at the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts under mentors Jason Goldman, Walter Smith III, and Kenny Dennis, and was selected early in his career for the Thelonious Monk Institute’s nationwide peer-to-peer tours, performing alongside artists such as Bobby Watson, Antonio Hart, and Lisa Henry. After moving to New York to attend The Juilliard School on a full-tuition scholarship, Moezinia has performed with celebrated musicians including Freddy Cole, Mike LeDonne, Cécile McLorin Salvant, George Coleman, and Kenny Washington at renowned venues such as Jazz at Lincoln Center, the Blue Note, Birdland, Smoke, and Bird’s Basement. He also leads the Folk Element Trio, a group that blends the jazz tradition with folk influences from around the world, creating a sound that is both rooted and adventurous.
