Fellowship Jazz Center Orchestra Celebrates International Jazz Day and One-Year Anniversary at the Orpheum Theatre
Sioux Falls, SD — The Fellowship Jazz Center Orchestra, Sioux Falls’ premier jazz orchestra, will celebrate International Jazz Day and its one-year anniversary with an unforgettable evening of music on Thursday, April 30 at 7:30 PM at the historic Orpheum Theatre.
This special concert embodies the spirit of celebration, education, and community that defines jazz. International Jazz Day unites communities, schools, artists, historians, academics, and jazz enthusiasts across the globe to honor the music’s rich roots and lasting impact. As the culmination of Jazz Appreciation Month, it serves as a worldwide reminder of jazz’s extraordinary heritage and its unique ability to connect people across cultures and generations.
The evening will feature special guest vocalist Andrea Ross, described by The Boston Globe as “a phenom, whose poise and pipes are astounding.” Known for her commanding stage presence, deep musicality, and electrifying performances, Ross brings a rare blend of sophistication, soul, and swing—making her an ideal collaborator for this milestone celebration.
Join us for a night that honors the past, celebrates the present, and invests in the future of jazz. Tickets go on sale February 25 and will be available at: https://www.siouxfallsorpheum.com
